WebFirst Federal Discuss a mission

Secure digital systems for public missions

Modernize the mission.
Operationalize intelligence.

WebFirst Federal unites trusted data, applied AI, digital experience, and secure engineering to move critical work from idea to measurable impact.

25+ Years of federal support
200+ Projects delivered
WCAG AA Accessibility standard

Capabilities

Three ways we make complex systems operational

Full capabilities statement

01

Digital Experience

Accessible platforms, content systems, service design, and mobile experiences built for public scale.

02

Data and Intelligence

Data engineering, analytics, applied AI, and retrieval systems that keep operators in the loop.

03

Secure Delivery

DevSecOps, cloud modernization, and continuous authorization for regulated environments.

Work

Verified mission outcomes

Challenge, intervention, and result — not a gallery of logos. Record of work

Figure 1. Civilian health — content system cutover.

01 Civilian health

Replatform a public CMS before the ATO window closed

Challenge
A civilian health agency had to retire a legacy content system without interrupting public information services.
Intervention
We replatformed the CMS, mapped editorial workflows, and put accessibility checks in the publishing path.
Measurable outcome
Services stayed online through cutover. Authorization proceeded on schedule.

2.5M+ Lines of code migrated

Figure 2. Citizen services — Section 508 clearance.

02 Citizen services

Clear Section 508 so the service could ship

Challenge
Citizen-facing views failed accessibility review and could not enter production.
Intervention
We rebuilt the interface against WCAG AA, with keyboard paths, contrast, and assistive-tech testing in CI.
Measurable outcome
Audited views met Section 508 and WCAG AA before authorization.

100% Audited views compliant

Figure 3. Data interoperability — governed retrieval.

03 Data interoperability

Unify siloed agency datasets for operators

Challenge
Teams queried incompatible sources by hand, delaying operational decisions.
Intervention
We stood up governed ingest, role-based retrieval, and a human review step before any generated output.
Measurable outcome
Operators query a single, permissioned index instead of five disconnected systems.

Real-time Governed retrieval

Architecture

System integration, without exposing internals

Governed data pipelines feeding human-in-the-loop operational AI.

System integration architecture Mission systems feed a trusted data fabric. An intelligence layer performs retrieval and modeling with human review. Governed outputs become operational services. Identity, policy, and continuous authorization sit across the stack. GOVERNANCE PLANE Identity and access Policy / ATO Human review Continuous authorization across environments 01 Mission systems Applications, channels, and operational sources 02 Trusted data Ingest, classify, retain, and govern access 03 Intelligence layer Retrieval, models, and operator-in-the-loop 04 Operational outcomes Services, decisions, measurable impact CONTROL NOTES No proprietary internals. Data movement is role-governed. Generated output does not ship without human review.

Industries

Where this work is used

  1. 01

    Civilian government

Public-facing platforms and internal mission systems.

  2. 02

    Public health

Content, data, and service design at population scale.

  3. 03

    Defense and national security

Secure engineering for classified and controlled programs.

  4. 04

    Education and research

Accessible digital services for institutions and the public.

  5. 05

    Regulated commercial organizations

The same controls, applied outside government.

“The team delivered an exceptional modern platform, exceeding contractual requirements and establishing a standard for federal digital service delivery.”
